How to walk in Everyday Overflow

 In Everyday Overflow

According to Webster’s Dictionary, the word “overflow” means “to flow over the brim of, to flow over bounds, to fill a space to capacity and spread beyond its limits.”

Too many people do not walk in the fullness of their true potential, or grab hold of all the bounty that is in store for them.  Every single person was created to live a life filled to overflowing. We were not meant to just survive; but rather to thrive.

So how do you get to this place of constantly and consistently walking in the abundance of every good thing, living a life of more than enough, an existence of flowing over the brim? It starts with your identity—with knowing whose Image you were created in, and whose authority and power you carry.

God created us in His Image (Genesis 1:27). He called us “fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:14). Every single person has a wonderful plan and purpose assigned to them and stored up for them, just waiting to be accessed and unwrapped, which includes plans not to harm us, but plans of hope and a glorious future (Jeremiah 29:11).  We were built to expect the “immeasurably more” in our lives that is above and beyond anything we could ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

In everything and in every respect, we are called and have been made to prosper, just as our souls prosper (3 John 1:2). If there are areas in our souls that are in disrepair, hurting, or in need of healing, then we need to allow God to put His finger in those parts, so one can break free and step into the pleasant places where the boundary lines have fallen for you, and your wondrously amazing heritage ushers you in (Psalm16:6).

Faith simply believes what God has said concerning you. And God is not a man who should lie. (Numbers 23:19).  So, are you ready to begin to walk in everyday overflow? Good! Grab your gear and let’s go!

With warmest regards,

Matthew
